“Johnny was unrecognizable and sadly alone”: Patrick Sabatier recounts the Taulier’s descent into hell

In his book, Patrick Sabatier looks back on his significant meeting with Johnny Hallyday, in the villa La Lorada, in Saint-Tropez. From Michel Drucker’s red sofa, the former TV man – who came to defend his book which reveals some anecdotes from celebrities he met – describes the singer as “alone, sadly alone, crushed by boredom and alcohol“. In The letter and on the set of France 3, the writer therefore questions himself: “Where had the sacred monster gone?“
