Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine, green light in the United States –

Experts from the FDA, the US Food and Drug Administration, voted to recommend the agency to grant the authorization for emergency use al Johnson & Johnson’s coronavirus vaccine. The Advisory Committee voted unanimously to recommend the vaccine for people aged 18 and over. If the FDA decides in line with the recommendation, and is expected to do so quickly, the vaccine will become the third authorized for use in the United States.

It will be the first one-shot vaccine, and what can be stored in normal refrigerators, making it easier to distribute than Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, which are gentler and require two doses.

The president of the United States, Joe Biden, expressed satisfaction with the green light of the FDA for the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine, the third to be approved in the United States, but he warned that the battle against the pandemic is far from over. This is fantastic news for all Americans, as well as an encouraging development in our efforts to end the crisis, Biden said in a statement, warning that we can’t let our guard down now or assume that victory is inevitable.
