In November last year, Jurassic World Evolution 2 was released – and now fresh supplies are on the way again. The makers announced a new extension with “Dominion Biosyn”.
Frontier Developments has the newest expansion “Dominion Biosyn”. Jurassic World Evolution 2 officially announced. This should be available from June 14th for the PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and Windows Store, as well as for the consoles PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The price should be around 20 euros.
With the expansion, the makers promise nothing less than the game’s largest DLC to date, set by the events of the Universal Pictures film “Jurassic World Dominion”; this will start in cinemas worldwide on June 10th.
So what exactly can you expect? The DLC introduces you to a new campaign featuring well-loved characters like Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard), Dr. Alan Grant (voiced by Sam Neill) and Dr. Ellie Sattler (voiced by Laura Dern) is ready. Also on board is Lewis Dodgson (voiced by Campbell Scott), the current head of Biosyn Genetics. The task in the new campaign: building a new research facility in several stages. Using a new feature, you will unearth rare genomes in amber mines to create feathered prehistoric species never before seen in a game in the series.
But that’s not the only new feature, as there are also invisible fences, a fast transport system for efficient movement through the park and more as an innovative new solution for containment and controllers. Away from the campaign, there is also a Chaos Theory mode where you can tackle a what-if scenario inspired by the new film. Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada, with its majestic pine forests, snow-capped hills and vast plains, you must face the challenge of building your own facility to house dinosaurs and ensure their safety.
Plus, of course, there’s a host of new prehistoric species, including two feathered dinosaurs: Therizinosaurus, a territorial leaf-eater with gorgeous plumage and curved claws, and the Pyroraptor, an intelligent pack hunter whose name harks back to the first fossils unearthed in a forest fire became. Joining these new species are the ancient carnivore Dimetrodon, which died out before dinosaurs appeared, and Quetzalcoatlus, one of the largest flying animals of all time. With its gigantic wingspan and long, sharp beak, it is an apex predator.
The package is rounded off by new dinosaur variants and skins. Alongside the premium DLC, there is also a free update that introduces new dinosaur hunting mechanics and more. The main game is of course a prerequisite for playing the expansion.
