A gameplay trailer of Kaveh was recently shown by HoYoverse via a trailer, officially revealing some features about the four-star character’s abilities. Scheduled for release in early May, when the second phase of Genshin Impact’s 3.6 update will begin, Kaveh will arrive along with Baizhu, Ganyu, Fischl and Candace, as reported by Oficina da Net.
Kaveh gameplay revealed by HoYoverse in new trailer
Kaveh didn’t feature much in the core story of Genshin Impact, but he has strong connections to the characters and locations of Genshin Impact. An example of this is the fact that Alhaitham is Kaveh’s roommate, where he was shown playing with the Akademiya Scribe several times. Additionally, the character acted as the main architect of the Alcazarzaray Palace in Sumeru, which is owned by Dori, another playable character. Through the new trailer released by HoYoverse, players can finally get to know more details about Kaveh.
The latest trailer released on Kaveh gives us a closer look at Kaveh’s abilities. During the scenes, it is possible to see that his skills refer to his profession as an architect. In the normal attack, the character imitates a compass, while in the Elemental Skill and in the Ultimate they show grids used in drawings of architectural projects.
On Ultimate, Kaveh creates a Dendro damage field, in addition to enhancing normal and charged attacks. The Elemental Skill deals Dendro damage around it and immediately destroys any blooming cores within its area.
Launch and availability
Kaveh’s launch will be on May 2, 2023, the day he will debut the second phase of Genshin Impact 3.6.
