Keep an eye on the asteroid size. – 18 Jan. Xinhua reported that the Zi Jinshan Observatory under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) revealed that asteroid half the size of a football field Prepare to orbit close to Earth in February But it is not a threat to the world in any way.
The observatory first discovered the asteroid on Jan. 1. The International Astronomical Union (IAU)’s Asteroid Center (MPC) later confirmed the discovery.
It was named 2022 AA (2022 AA), meaning it was the first near-Earth asteroid to be discovered in 2022 while at an observing station in the United States. And Chile has closely watched the asteroid.

The newly discovered asteroid, about 43 meters wide, is classified as the Apollo asteroid group, which has a larger orbit than the Earth’s orbit around the Sun and has a path opposite to that of Earth. Move through the world on February 4th.
Mr Zhao Haibin Chief Scientist of the Observatory’s Near-Earth Object Telescope Project indicates that the asteroid above is heading towards Earth. and is expected to approach the Earth’s surface at a distance of 2.55 million km. This asteroid will not pose a threat to Earth.
