[이데일리 스타in 임정우 기자] Ha-seong Kim (26) of the San Diego Padres succeeded in producing a hit in four games.

Kim Ha-seong started as the 7th batter and third baseman in the home game against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the Major League Baseball 2021 held at Petco Park in San Diego, California, USA on the 28th (Korean time) and scored 1 in 4 at-bat. His batting average for the season improved slightly from 0.212 to 0.213.

Kim Ha-seong took the lead in the bottom of the second inning and slammed a clean hit that fell in front of left fielder against Arizona right-handed starting pitcher Jack Gallen. However, Kim Ha-seong withdrew with a ball at 3rd base in 1 shot in the bottom of the 4th and a ground ball in shortstop in 1 shot in the bottom of the 6th. In the bottom of the 7th inning, he turned to strikeout with a swing and left a disappointment in his RBI opportunities at 2nd and 3rd base.
