Kimi Raikkonen will take part in a charity soccer match that precedes the 2022 F1 Round 7 Monaco Grand Prix later this month and will reunite with his former F1 friends.
Last year, Kimi Raikkonen put a period in his 17-year F1 career. At that time, he stated that he would not show up in the F1 paddock, but he met his F1 friends for the first time in a traditional charity soccer match over the weekend of the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.
Kimi Raikkonen will join a team of F1 drivers who combine soccer players and celebrities at the “Star Team for the Children” event with Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso.
The match will take place on May 24th at Stade Louis II in Monaco, with former Juventus midfielder Oscar Damiani leading a team of motor racing stars.
The match will be attended by 14 active drivers, including Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, the protagonists of this year’s F1 title battle.
