Amelia Stone: Kip, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. The declaration of the farewell tours in Australia and Japan has certainly created a buzz. How are you feeling as you approach this final chapter with Winger?
Kip Winger: It’s a mix of emotions, to be honest. There’s a sense of accomplishment looking back at everything we’ve achieved. And excitement too, especially recalling all of the fans. It’s really made me appreciate music even more than ever during these tours. I’m looking forward to experiencing these last shows in Australia and Japan which is very exciting.
Looking Ahead: New Horizons in music
Amelia Stone: Yoru creative journey has always been fascinating. Some fans might not know that your also an acclaimed orchestral composer.the band’s farewell might allow you to pursue these interests more fully?
Kip Winger: Absolutely. that’s one of the most positive elements of this transition. It’s a fantastic opportunity to go deeper with my orchestral work and other projects that I’m passionate about. It’s moving in a world of music. I’m feeling very inspired.
The Impact of Touring: a Personal Note
Amelia Stone: Touring can be grueling. How has the constant travel and performance impacted your creative process and personal life?
Kip Winger: Touring definitely has its challenges, it’s one of the things I will miss the most.But the energy from the fans is astonishing. I’m going to miss playing with these guys that I really love so much. You find inspiration in the most unexpected places.I’m very excited to move on to this other world that I’m really inspired becuase I’m hearing so much of the music.

Kip Winger: We’re bringing the full original lineup, so fans will experience the classic Winger sound. We’re promising a setlist packed with hits, fan favorites, and some deep cuts. It’s going to be a memorable experience.
