Vienna – One week after Sebastian Kurz resigned as Federal Chancellor, Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler sums up how the talks took place in the background immediately before him. At the time, it was the Green leader who called Kurz “not fit for office” and thus gave the ÖVP a choice: Either the Chancellor resign or he set up a government without the ÖVP. As you know, Kurz stepped aside. “This step deserves respect,” said Kogler in “Club3”, the policy talk by Kurier, Krone and Profil, which will be broadcast on Saturday. In the end, this was “certainly not easy” for Kurz.
