Twenty-five-year-old Brady, who lost to Japan’s Naomi Osaka during her premiere in the grand slam final in Melbourne, made 25 unforced mistakes in a duel with Kontaveit today and didn’t make a single breakball. She stayed on the court for less than an hour.
“I was expecting a very difficult match, but I’m very happy with the way I played today, and I’m glad I’m in the second round,” Kontaveit said on the court.

He expects to return to the WTA circuit in late March in Miami.
The young Danka eliminated the number one tournament in Lyon
The tournament in Lyon lost the number one Ekaterina Alexandrovova in the first round. Another rival of the former junior world number one will be the Hungarian Tímea Babosová.
