The Korean women’s volleyball team failed to win a single set at the World Championships and lost 4 in a row.

Korea, ranked 25th in the world, lost to 14th place Thailand 3-0 with a set score in Group B of the International Volleyball Federation World Championships held at Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland.

After the Dominican Republic in 8th place, Turkey in 6th place, and Poland in 12th place, Korea also collapsed without exerting any effort in Thailand.

In particular, it showed a significant gap with the world to the extent that there was never a set that exceeded 20 points.

Even if the national team defeated the 23rd-placed Croatia, the last opponent of the group stage on the 2nd of next month, it was already confirmed to be eliminated from the group stage by only three points.

In this tournament, 24 countries are divided into 4 groups and the first round group stage is played, followed by the second round of 16 countries divided into 2 groups with the top 4 teams in each group.

Afterwards, the quarterfinals will be played in a way that determines the teams that advance to the finals.
