A team from Kanjirapalli Fire Rescue Station has been dispatched to the Mundakkayam Causeway due to the high water level. Three youths who were trapped on the bridge at Kanjirapalli Vandampatal were rescued by the fire rescue team who arrived as per the information given by the locals. Munnilav, Mankomp, Kalathookadav, Mundakkaparam and Kaduvamuzhi are flooded in Eratupetta. Locals say that if the rains continue in the same way, the water will flood in Eratupetta itself at night.
