The Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) held a launching ceremony for ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’, a high-class membership community, at the InterContinental Seoul COEX Jupiter Room in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 28th.
The launch ceremony was attended by KPGA Chairman Ja-cheol Koo and founding members of ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’, and programs such as a report on the establishment progress and operation plan of ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’ in 2021, and member introduction were conducted.
‘THE CLUB HONORS K’ is a counselor-type support group that aims to grow together with the KPGA by using golf, and is composed of business managers and experts in each field. The purpose of this is to provide opportunities for affiliated corporations or individuals to form a mutual human network, discover new business using the KPGA brand, and expand existing business areas. ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’ will join as a co-host of ‘YAMAHA · HONORS K Open with Solarago CC’ to be held in July. In addition, it plans to lead the practice of ‘Noblesse Oblige’ by realizing social values such as fostering programs to discover golf players and support for orphans, multicultural families, and children.
KPGA Chairman Koo Ja-cheol said, “If we can summarize the new history that ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’ and KPGA will make together from this moment, in one line, it is a series of bold and passionate challenges. “KPGA will take the lead in promoting KPGA’s brand and content as a great business partner, and will spare no effort to support mutual growth.”
Choi Dong-yeol, chairman of the imported furniture brand Disamobili, who was elected as the first president of ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’, said, “Only for the growth and leap of the KPGA, we have joined forces with one mind and one mind. The role of ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’ is to serve as a base camp to support the KPGA and players so that they can constantly challenge themselves.”
In ‘THE CLUB HONORS K’, corporations and individuals who agree with the purpose of sponsorship can join after sponsoring a certain amount. Various benefits are provided, such as providing brand advertisements in the venue where KPGA-organized competitions are held, participating in official pro-am events, golf-related forums and training, and customized lessons for KPGA players.
