Kuwait City: Kuwait tightens action against visa dealers Violators face warnings of imprisonment and fines. Violators face up to three to five years in prison and a fine of 3,000 dinars (7,60,780 rupees) to 10,000 dinars (25,35,934 rupees). Strict action will be taken against those who repeat the crime. If the offender is a government official, the sentence is doubled.
Authorities are cracking down on those who illegally recruit foreigners to Kuwait for exorbitant fees and refuse to give them jobs when they return to the country.
