La Guaira receives more than 450 billion bolivars in medicine

The Governor of the state of La Guaira, Jose Manuel Suarez, reported that thanks to the National Government and the Ministry of Health, it was possible to acquire an endowment of medicine equivalent to 450 billion bolivars, which will be distributed in hospitals, the Comprehensive Diagnosis Center (CDI) and outpatient clinics of the Central Coast.

According to a press release from the Government, from the Rafael Medina Jiménez de Pariata Hospital, the highest regional leader, explained that the treatments against COVID-19, the equipment and medical supplies and medications such as Levofloxacin and Meropenem, were part of the dowry received in the entity.

Suárez clarified that in a timely manner, the reception of these supplies copes with the false news spread through social networks, where it is indicated that the Guaireños hospital facilities do not have resources for citizen care.

“The constant attack by the right and the empire wants to implement the idea that our hospitals are empty. Here we have the best answer, the facts. Our hospitals, CDI and outpatient clinics, are being provided monthly with the materials and medicines necessary for the care of the Guaireños ”, he asserted.

The Governor announced that, simultaneously, the first children’s surgical intervention would be carried out in the recently inaugurated operating room of the hospital compound: “Today we celebrate that the first Guaireña girl will be intervened for free and safe in this work that was inaugurated in Revolution by and for the people ”. // MT
