At the beginning of the afternoon on Monday, La Poste users were finally able to use send letters or track their packages. The postal service site had been inaccessible since at least the end of the morning, reports BFMTV, due to a “technical incident”. The messaging service remained available for the duration of this incident.
The incident is said to be a cyberattack claimed by a mysterious “Team Bangladesh” (Bangladesh team), according to the Twitter account Falcon Feeds, which comes from an Indian start-up specializing in cybersecurity.
The La Poste site was back to normal on Monday at 2:30 p.m.
