While Lamborghini unveiled a few months ago the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 exclusively reserved for the track, the Italian manufacturer is now doing the opposite by unveiling the new Lamborghini Huracán STO, a racing car approved for the road!
Developed by sports section Lamborghini Squadra Corse, declined from the Super Trofeo EVO race cars and the GT3 EVO, this Lamborghini Huracán STO is simply exceptional for a road approved car : weight a little over 1.3 tons, engine Atmospheric V10 (yes!) 640 hp at 8000 rpm, propulsion only (yes!), it swallows the 0 to 100 km / h in 3 sec and the 0 to 200 km / h in 9 seconds, for a Vmax of 310 km / h.
She doesn’t do as well as a Ferrari 488 Pista whose twin-turbo V8 makes 720 hp and therefore allows better performance, however this Huracán STO has the merit of offering an atmospheric V10 that sends power only to the rear wheels and a deliberately “racing” bodywork. And it shows with the gigantic rear spoiler and the air intake on the roof.
Inside you will also feel like in a race car with carbon fiber, Alcantara seats and a compartment to store a helmet.
This Lamborghini Huracán STO fully assumes its positioning of a racing car, usable on the road. This avoids putting the car on a trailer to go to a circuit and incidentally, if you have a mattress to go and get, there is something to strap it on.
The price for Europe, excluding tax, is from € 250,000. Add the various taxes such as VAT and the various penalties, you arrive at close to € 350,000 for France. Not bad for a racing car!
