Laurent Gbagbo’s triumphant return to his native village

Ten days after his return to Abidjan following his acquittal by the International Criminal Court, the former Ivorian president, Laurent Gbagbo, arrived Sunday in his native village of Mama in west-central Côte d’Ivoire. After an absence of 10 years, he received a triumphant welcome, several thousand people came to cheer him at the end of the day. Details with Dilly Dicko.
