Most Laurentian Bank banking services have been inaccessible to customers since Sunday morning due to an outage.
The financial institution indicated that it was aware of the problem.
“We are currently experiencing a service interruption due to an issue with routine updates [effectuée sur nos systèmes internes]. Most of our banking services are affected,” indicated Merick Seguin, spokesperson for the Laurentian Bank.
“Our technical teams are actively working to resolve the problem in order to return to normal as quickly as possible,” he added, specifying that the outage began on Sunday morning.
The Bank stressed, however, that while most banking services are affected, customers can still use their credit and debit cards to make purchases.
It also ensures that all customer data and financial information “remains secure”.
