A photo of the Intel 13th generation Core 13000 series (codename: Raptor Lake) QS version Core i7-13700K running at an ultra-high clock of 6.18GHz (!) has been leaked.Reported by overseas media VideoCardz.

twitter user’sMr. QXEposted a screenshot of the 8 P-Cores of the QS version Core i7-13700K running at 6.18GHz.

QS version Core i7-13700K@6.18GHz

The CPU voltage is 1.536V, the clock is 6185MHz for P-Core and 4189MHz for E-Core. Hyper-threading is disabled, so it shows 16 threads instead of 24.

The result of the CPU-Z benchmark is 1009.9 points for single score and 11877.1 points for multi-score. It is not clear what kind of cooling was used to achieve this clock.

Of course, you won’t be able to use this clock regularly. As expected, this clock seems to be a cooling environment that is not common, such as liquid nitrogen.

Core i7-13700K is all P-Core 5.3GHz when PL is unlimited and AIDA64 is turned in a 360mm simple water cooling environment107 degreesis said to reach In a normal cooling environment, if you turn it over 6GHz with a high load, it will immediately become thermal throttling or, in the worst case, thermal runaway.

Nonetheless, if you can manage to cool it down, it will run at a high clock, so it may be a CPU that can be enjoyed by those who want to play with overclocking.
