The sports world is in mourning this weekend. We learn this Sunday that Leandro Lo Pereira do Nascimento is dead. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion’s lawyer announced in the local press that his client died after being shot in the head.
The facts took place at Clube Sírio Indianópolis on the night of Saturday to Sunday, indicates G1. The Brazilian then went to a party with several friends. During the party, Leandro Do was surprised by a man who wanted to confront him. Once on the ground, the assailant pulled out a gun and shot him in the head.
The jiu-jitsu champion died a few hours later in hospital. He was 33 years old.
