Lebanon in the spotlight at the Arab World Institute

Published on :

One year after the explosion in the port of Beirut, modern and contemporary Lebanese creation is exhibited at the Institut du monde arabe in Paris.

“Lights of Lebanon” brings together more than fifty artists and a hundred works from the Claude and France Lemand donation, two years ago at the IMA. Works that bear witness to the great artistic effervescence in this country despite the many tragedies it has gone through: conflicts, catastrophes and the current economic collapse. A remarkable exhibition which marks the arrival of Nathalie Bondil, the new director of the IMA museum.
