Lee Jae-myung, senior advisor of the Democratic Party of Korea, stood at the press conference amid cheers and applause from supporters.

First of all, this adviser, who bowed his head as a sinner of losing the presidential election, blamed Gyeyang, Incheon, as the reason for running for the National Assembly by-election.

He said that he had a lot of trouble around him, but he could not see the difficulties the Democratic Party was facing and the precarious local election situation as it was.

“After much deliberation, I chose a dangerous head-on breakthrough to help the Democratic Party in crisis and lead the difficult local elections to victory.”

The adviser did not hesitate to stand up for the people’s strength and the side of the elected Yoon Seok-yeol, suggesting the goal of leading a national majority victory.

“If a person who is filthy all over his body drives me to be a thief, would this be common sense politics?”

Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the transition committee, who belongs to the People’s Power, also jumped into the Bundang-Gap by-election in Gyeonggi-do again after more than two months of the presidential election.

Chairman Ahn said he was running to lay the foundation for the success of the new government with a victory in the metropolitan area.

“I designed the vision and strategy of the new government and selected the national tasks. I will create a new blueprint for the Republic of Korea that I drew with my own hands in Bundang (I will make it a reality)”

Lee Jae-myung, an advisor, who served as the mayor of Seongnam and Gyeonggi governor, also criticized that he chose to run for Incheon rather than Bundang to avoid refereeing.

“Seongnam City, which has been in power for 12 years of the Democratic Party, has been reduced to ‘Godam City where the Joker runs’. It is the site of ‘Daejang-dong Gate’ and ‘Baekhyeon-dong Incident’.”

The Democratic Party criticized “Chairman Ahn, who is responsible for the catastrophe of the new government personnel, chose to run for no reason,” while the people’s power denounced, “Advisor Lee Jae-myung should not be running for office, but should be investigated.”
