KBS recently announced, “Kim Young-chul is leaving after finishing season 1 of KBS 1TV’s ‘Kim Young-chul’s Neighborhood’ last broadcast on the 9th.” After Kim Young-chul’s departure, Lee Man-gi will lead season 2 starting on the 23rd.
Starting with the episodes in Mangwon-dong and Seongsan-dong, Seoul on November 24, 2018, ‘Kim Young-cheol’s A Neighborhood Tour’ visited cities and regions across the country for 3 years and 8 months. Along with actor Kim Young-cheol, he met ordinary neighbors and discovered the hidden stories of the neighborhood and rediscovered the value of the neighborhood, which received a lot of response from viewers.
Regarding this departure, Kim Young-chul told KBS about his departure, “Finding the audience’s bedroom every Saturday evening was a new challenge for me, and it was a blissful time.” I decided to have a break and take a break.”
