Suddenly, Mr. Whitley’s doorbell with a security camera rang. When I checked the monitor, I saw Lily who had disappeared. She reaches out and presses the bell, meowing as if to say, “Let me in the house.”

The fact that Lily got home safely and that she rang the bell to let her know. “We all gasped, laughed and cried. It was an amazing moment,” Whitley said. When she saw Lily keep meowing, she said, “It sounded like she was imitating the children who called her Mama.”
