LG Display starts mass production of 27/32 type OLED panels.
The 27-inch OLED gaming monitor, which has started mass production, is expected to start mass production at the end of the fourth quarter of 2022 and release a new product in the first quarter of 2023. In addition, mass production of 32-inch OLEDs is also scheduled to start at the end of this year, and 42-inch OLED panel production is planned to increase, the foreign press (flatpanelshd) reported.
However, information related to the specifications according to the panel size, resolution, aspect ratio, and refresh rate has not been separately confirmed, but very fast response speed is expected for 27·32 type 4K and 144Hz refresh rates.
Meanwhile, while Samsung Display recently launched a 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor using QD-OLED, a variety of options for OLED monitors have arisen. There is a lot of interest in whether to achieve this.
