Crystal Palace could not take advantage of the opportunity with Liverpool down to ten men. This is Liverpool’s second consecutive draw this season. Fulham held them to a draw in the first leg. With the draw Liverpool are 12th in the points table with two points. Crystal Palace are in 16th place. Defending champions Manchester City are first with six points from two games and Arsenal are second with the same number of points. Bretford are third with four points and Tottenham Hotspur are fourth.

The match between the mighty Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur ended 2-2.

The match was played at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s home ground. Koulibaly scored in the 19th minute for Chelsea. Hoybege’s equalizer in the 68th minute shocked Chelsea. Minutes later, Rory James put Chelsea back in front. Harry Kane’s goal in injury time saved Tottenham from defeat.

Nottingham Forest welcomed West Ham United by 1-0. Avonyi’s goal in the injury time of the first half of the match at his home ground, City Ground, gave Nottingham the win.
