Although “Thor: Love and Thunder” will only premiere on February 18, 2022, Taika Waititi is already excited about some details about the film on social media.

The kiwi director hosted a screening party for “Thor: Ragnarok” on Instagram Live on Thursday, in which two of the most popular stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Mark Ruffalo, took part (Hulk).
Before Waititi came to “Ragnarok”, he couldn’t help it other than troll fans. He did so with a fake screenplay in which Thor (Chris Hemsworth) found that Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) was alive and Thanos (Josh Brolin) had returned. Of course, this meant that the Avengers had to reunite and “avenge themselves more than ever”, which led to their new name: the “Avengers”.
“Love and Thunder” picks up on the events of “Avengers: Endgame” and while it will show Hemsworth as the god of thunder, it introduces a female Thor, with Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster picking up the hammer for this role. In addition, Thompson’s Valkyrie, the new leader of the Asgarden, will look for her queen and confirm that she is an LGBTQ heroine.

Here are teasing for “Thor: love and thunder:”
Not a silver surfer yet.
It looks like the popular character from the comics won’t make his movie debut in “Love and Thunder”. (Hopefully we’ll meet him sometime.)
Much more Korg.
Thankfully, Waititi will bring Korg’s most popular “Fortnite” rock game, Korg, back into “Love and Thunder”. When asked by Thompson whether or not he would have a love interest in the next film given the title of the film, he answered no because Korg “was deeply in love and lost that love across the board” and “he feels.” not “brave enough to find love again. “
Nevertheless, we will learn more about Korg’s Kronan culture.
Miek gets a makeover.
Waititi shared some possible concept art for what Miek will look like in “Love and Thunder”. In one of the drawings, Miek wore a pencil skirt in the Sakaaran look that Waititi called the “secretary”. He also confirmed that Miek is female.
Thompson is a fan of Miek’s new look and calls the insectoid warrior “hot”.
No more fat door (probably).
Although he hadn’t fully closed the door to the idea – he said “We didn’t find out” – Waititi seemed bored with the thought. “But I feel like we saw that, right?” he asked.
There is a script!
Thompson said there was a script floating around and Waititi confirmed that it was “four or five drafts”. “However, as you may have suspected, the shooting hasn’t started yet.
It gets bigger and better.
If you thought “Ragnarok” was fun, Waititi says that “Love and Thunder” makes it feel “safe” and “everyday” and calls the next installment “so exaggerated”. He added, “It’s as if 10-year-olds told us what should be in a movie and we said yes to every single thing.”
There will be “space sharks”.
Waititi also announced that there will be space sharks in “Thor 4”, which could mean that comic fans will be officially introduced to Starsharks in the upcoming film.
BONUS: Christian Bale plays …
…Was just a joke! Waititi again attracted a viewer, pretending that the video feed would dissolve when he made noises to make everyone think he was spilling details about Bale’s role.
