Dejan Lovren, the former Liverpool player, spoke about his opinion of the team’s situation during the new season after the negative results he experienced, explaining that time will reveal whether the team is suffering from a period of decline or is the end of the story.
“I speak with Salah at least once a month,” Lovren said in his statements, which was reported by the “Liverpool Echo” newspaper, about whether he was in contact with any of the current Liverpool players.
And the Croatian continued: “We will see how the story of Liverpool unfolds, whether the team is going through a bad period, or it is the end of the story, they have to return to the Liverpool that everyone is accustomed to recently.”
He added: “The Premier League is a very difficult league, some new players have joined the team and they need to adapt.”
Liverpool is suffering at the level of the Premier League, as it is ranked eighth in the table, but it has a game less than some of its competitors.
