Luma resumes blackouts for the third day in a row

For the third day in a row, Luma Energy company announced this morning, Wednesday, that they resumed power outages for their customers.

“They resume service interruptions due to limited generation,” reads the message they posted on their social networks.

During the day yesterday, Tuesday, over 200 thousand subscribers were without service during the day. The same was returned during the night.

“LUMA is in charge of the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) components. PREPA and other private companies are in charge of generation,” they recalled in another tweet.

At around 11:44 a.m., 4,161 customers were without power. That number is expected to rise on Wednesday morning.
