The Navegantes del Magallanes gave a coup of authority in a duel of hits against Bravos de Margaritaa match in which they took the best part, leaving them on the field 9 races to 8 at the José Bernardo Pérez in Valencia.

Both openers were broken by the rival offenses, since in the first episode Félix Doubront, Magallanes’ opener, received two runs and could barely work for 2.2 innings. For his part, Pedro Ávila, who started for the Braves, was only able to retire two batters, allowing four clean runs.
The offenses remained active throughout the match, and it wasn’t until the start of the ninth in which Margarita would take control of the board with sacrifice flies from Breyvic Valera and Edgar Durán that gave the Braves the advantage, but in the Closing that episode, simple drives by Alberto González and Rayder Ascanio, the latter with the difference to leave the islanders lying on the ground.
