As part of the Boulevard 9 Avril development project, piloted by the Maârif district, Lydec carried out the studies necessary to strengthen and renew the drinking water, liquid sanitation, electricity and street lighting in this area.

The public lighting network along Boulevard 9 Avril will be renovated according to the recommendations of the Lighting Development Master Plan (SDAL). The cost of the interventions carried out by Lydec amounts to 5.7 million DH excluding tax.

The objective is to minimize the duration of the interventions, which should not exceed 3 and a half months, and also to limit the disturbances linked to traffic.

In detail, these works consist of the extension of the drinking water network by 500 linear meters, the extension of the liquid sanitation network by 250 linear meters, the construction of 400 linear meters of ducts dedicated to high electricity voltage (MV) as well as the renewal of the public lighting network in accordance with SDAL guidelines.
