macOS Big Sur: Apple releases a new version of macOS 11.0.1

Apple a discreetly started distributing a new version of macOS 11.0.1. Numbered 20B50 instead of 20B29 available since last week (it was the final version of macOS Big Sur), this “additional version” is obviously only available to users whose Macs are running macOS Catalina and who are about to make the switch. No need to try to get this new version if you are already under macOS 11.0.1 (20B29).

Developers can however retrieve the 20B50 from the Apple web portal, since it is the one that is available for download as of today. Perhaps this is a build to fix the big installation bugs on older 13-inch MacBook Pros ? We should be up to speed in a little while …
