Malawi on Thursday opened a consulate general in Laâyoune, capital of the southern provinces of Morocco. The inauguration of this consulate took place in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans residing in Morocco. foreigner, Nasser Bourita, and his Malawian counterpart, Eisenhower Nduwa Mkaka. More than twenty countries have so far opened diplomatic representations in the Moroccan Sahara. In Laâyoune, the Malawi consulate will rub shoulders with those of the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain, Côte d’Ivoire, the Comoros Islands, Gabon, Sao-Tomé-Et-Principe, the Central African Republic, Burundi, from Eswatini and Zambia.
