He has been training with the Bruins team for some time and most recently had a trial contract with farm team Providence Bruins, where he was unable to gain match practice as planned due to game cancellations. Now he has reached an agreement with Boston on a one-year contract with a salary of one million dollars. A precise statement as to when Rask will be between the Bruins’ posts for the first time is not yet known. He won the Stanley Cup with the Bruins as a substitute goalkeeper in 2011 and failed as number one in the 2013 and 2019 finals.
