Manchester City wow, with 18 consecutive wins in all competitions. When will you lose, City?

Newest, Manchester City beat host Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (21/2/2021) evening WIB in continued Premier League. The Citizens won 1-0 with a goal from Raheem Sterling’s header and took home three points.

Until week 25, Manchester City collected 59 points from 25 matches and perched at the top of the ranking Premier League Standings. Pep Guardiola’s men are 10 points ahead of Manchester United and Leicester City in second and third place (MU winning on goal difference).

Reporting from The Guardian, Manchester City a total of 18 consecutive wins in all competitions. That includes 13 victories in the Premier League!

Man City was also able to overthrow tough opponents such as Tottenham Hotspur being shaved 3-0 and defending champion Liverpool 4-1 beaten.

“I was surprised and impressed with the team’s performance. While other teams dropped points, we were so consistent in the last two months,” said the Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola.

“But surely we will lose, really, one day,” he continued.

Pep Guardiola also admitted, victory after victory for Manchester City was not easy. Player rotation is key.

“We have to rotate players and be mentally strong. There is not much time to rest,” he said.

Furthermore, Manchester City will face Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League last 16 on Thursday (25/2) WIB. Then on Saturday (27/2) West Ham United again on fire awaits.
