“Marghe has shown such progress, such an evolution. It’s always nice to see someone progressing and maturing and coming up with things that they’ve made their own. It fascinates me to see this kid with this warrior soul”Rejoiced his coach Florent Pagny after this first performance.
For her second performance, Marghe sang “Wasting My Young Years” in duet with the British group London Grammar. A sublime moment. With her two performances, Marghe won the public’s choice and climbed to the second phase of the final in the company of the other talent, Jim Bauer.
Marghe lets go for her last solo performance, singing “Forget Everything”, a song of her own composition that she wrote in the middle of the night and dedicated to those “moments when you want to crack”.
In the end, Marghe won 68% of the public’s votes, against 32% for Jim Bauer. Florent Pagny’s talent is the first Madagascan to win The Voice.
