Max Verstappen "Ferrari is fast. If it's dry, it's a struggle" / Red Bull Racing F1 Hungarian GP Friday free run[F1-Gate.com]

Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) finished the Friday free practice of the 2022 F1 Round 13 Hungarian Grand Prix in 4th place.

Max Verstappen, who marked 1:18.728 on the new software, was fourth behind two Ferraris and Lando Norris (McLaren). In the final stint, the used medium tires were used for further race simulation laps to finish the session with a total of 26 laps.

“Today was a bit tricky, as expected,” commented Max Verstappen.

“We tried to find the right balance from high speed to low speed, and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. We still have some work to do.”

“I think the Ferraris will be faster than us this weekend and it will be difficult to beat them. We will work hard all night and try to close the gap as much as possible.”

“Tomorrow it’s going to be affected by the weather. If it’s dry we might struggle, if it’s raining it’s a different story. Tomorrow we’ll see what happens.”
