Two men were attacked in Kreuzberg on Saturday evening. One suffered stab wounds and the other was hit in the face.
The two men (27 and 28 years old) were walking in the Park am Gleisdreieck around 9:20 p.m. when they were approached by two strangers.
One of the two is said to have hit the 28-year-old several times in the face and asked for his wallet. His companion was injured by a knife wound on the upper body. The perpetrators fled with the purse.
The 27-year-old man was treated at the scene and eventually taken to the hospital for emergency surgery. Danger to life should no longer exist. His friend was injured in the face, but did not require treatment.

Police found a 27-year-old man nearby who was carrying a knife. It might be the murder weapon. He was taken into police custody and handed over to the criminal police.
