Mexico records record in number of infected in the last day

Mexico continues to record many cases of coronavirus, and this Saturday it introduced a new number with 9,556 in the last 24 hours.

The Aztec country has already become the third nation worldwide with more deaths from this virus (only behind United States and Brazil), and is the sixth largest in number of infected.

Since February, Mexico has added 434,193 infected and 47,472 dead, of which 784 unfortunately occurred in the last 24 hours.

The general director of Epidemiology of Mexico, José Luis Alomy He explained that Nayarit (81%), Nuevo León (79%) and Tabasco (65%) are the states with the most beds occupied; while Tabasco (59%), Nuevo León (58%) and Colima (56%) have the highest record with assisted beds with fans.

“This is a situation that must be monitored in order to always be aware that they are not going to have a saturation that prevents receiving patients,” he said at the conference.

It highlights that this week several governors of Mexico requested the resignation of the undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, because the number of cases in that nation has not decreased and only in some states of the Republic are they orange, while others still remain red.
