Parents of the students of the Ejército del Trabajo elementary school demonstrated this Wednesday in front of the public school located in Rayón, in the Mexico stateto demand that the principal suspend five sixth-year elementary school children identified as aggressors of other students, who, among other crimes, committed sexual abuse against a first-year student, recorded it and uploaded it to TikTok.
A mother of a second-year primary school student explained that on May 31, through the social network, the parents found out about the sexual abuse of a child within the institutionso they went to the director to demand the suspension of those responsible.
He explained that in the video it is observed that four children subdued the victim, beat him and threatened him with a knife.
In the meeting with the school authorities, other girls pointed out that they had been threatened by the same aggressors to take intimate photoswhile another boy admitted to having been a victim of sexual abuse.
However, the alleged perpetrators were not removed from the school, so on Wednesday the parents went to the institution to demand a solution and rule out further risks.
The parents talked with the director, they asked him to apply psychological studies to the aggressors, in addition to checking the backpacks to rule out that they enter with weapons and that they not return to school until completing psychological therapy.
The parents also proposed establishing surveillance cells, especially during peak hours, when there is a crowd at the entrance and exit of children.
There are no formal complaints by the victims, so the agreement was that those identified as aggressors will take online classes and the management will initiate the steps to carry out the backpack operation.
