The Miami Heat have reached the NBA Finals for the 7th time. The team from Florida won the decisive 7th semifinal game at the Boston Celtics 103:84 and now meets the Denver Nuggets.
Boston is missing out on history
As a result, Boston failed to become the first team to turn from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA playoffs. The home team got off to a better start in the “Belle”. After the 8:11, Miami scored 7 points in a row to 15:11, after which the guests never gave up the lead.
With 28 points, Jimmy Butler was the leading pitcher of the Heat, which had qualified for the playoffs via the play-in tournament. In the Celtics, star player Jayson Tatum had to settle for 14 points. The 25-year-old landed unluckily on an opponent’s foot in the first attack and was apparently in pain for the rest of the game.
The Celtics, along with the Los Angeles Lakers, are the NBA’s record-breaking champions with 17 titles. Denver enjoys home advantage in the final against Miami. The first game will take place on Friday night.
