Michaël, the 44-year-old worker, was the father of two children

This Thursday afternoon, a tragedy occurred in a company on Monsin Island, in Liège. Michaël, a 44-year-old father, living in Oreye, lost his life. The 40-year-old was handling a firecracker when it exploded in his face.

This Thursday, around 3 p.m., a tragic accident occurred at Cash Metal, on Île Monsin in Liège. A worker was handling firecrackers in the company of several colleagues when the tragedy occurred. “The worker then lit one of the firecrackers which exploded in his face”, explained this Thursday Pascale Malderez, press magistrate of the Labor Auditor of Liège. Michael (photo)the victim, unfortunately did not survive.

Currently, it is the Labor Auditor of Liège which is in charge of this file, since it takes place within the confines of a company.
