The UK Competition Authority knows the release window for The Elder Scrolls 6: the UK regulator itself must confirm this by releasing documentation sent to Microsoft to finalize the Activision acquisition and defend itself against accusations made by Sony with fears for the future of Call of Duty.
In a filing prepared by Microsoft in support of its thesis before a panel tasked with establishing monopoly or anti-competitive risks stemming from a $70 billion deal with Activision Blizzard, the American tech giant specifies a release date for Bethesda’s upcoming open-world RPG.
In an excerpt following one in which Microsoft describes The Elder Scrolls 6 as a series incomparable to Call of Duty, the Redmond-based company explains to members of the UK CMA that TES 6 “should not be released before [опущено]“. Therefore, in sharing the documents submitted by the parties involved in this investigation, the UK Commission chooses to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding the marketing year of The Elder Scrolls 6 given to it by Microsoft, as well as lost revenue due to the decision to turn the game into an Xbox exclusive and not available on PlayStation platforms.
