Both for being figures of the Detroit Tigers, and for being two of the best hitters of their respective generations, Miguel Cabrera and Al Kaline are intertwined, they have a special place in the history of the Major Leagues.

Consecrated as the franchise man of the felines in these times, Mr. Miggy always found in Kaline a figure to admire, who also provided him with sincere advice and a completely fraternal, even paternal, welcome.

Al Kaline spent his 20-year career in the Majors always serving the Bengals, a career in which he completed, among other figures, 3,007 hits, 1,582 RBIs, 399 home runs and a .297 batting average.

Since 1980 he has been a member of the Cooperstown Hall of Fame. He passed away on April 6, 2020.
