Mike Hussey Kovid Muktan; He will remain in Quarantine in Chennai

New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings’ batting coach Mike Hussey’s Kovid test result has been negative. But he will stay in Quarantine in Chennai for another week. Then he will return home. Before traveling by air ambulance from Delhi to Chennai, Hussey tested negative. Chennai CEO Kashi Viswanathan made this clear. He added that coach Stephen Fleming will return home tomorrow.

The Australian players and other coaching staff who played in the IPL were sent back to Australia. However, Australia has banned flights from India until May 15. In this case, they will return home after completing a 14 – day quarantine in the Maldives. If the next test is negative, Hussey will join them.

There are forty players in the Australia squad, including 14 players. Cricket Australia has thanked the BCCI for bringing the players and others safely to the Maldives on a special flight. Cricket Australia has said it will not seek any special concessions from the government for the return of players.

The South African, West Indies and New Zealand players also returned home. The Mumbai Indians have special flights for New Zealand, South Africa and the West Indies. Bangladesh players Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan have returned home.
