The duel began with the full initiative of the owner of the house, as is customary. Barely two minutes into the game, Mackalister Silva leaked a sensational pass to Luis Carlos Ruíz. The striker accommodated himself as best he could, hooked against the defender’s mark and shot to set, but the bolero Juan Camilo Chaverra masterfully saved.
The right wing gradually took shape in the main offensive path of the blue. The speed and ability of Andrés Gómez was sought and at times it paid off. Likewise, the middle distance began to be important. In one of those, Mackalister stole a ball in a rival exit and tried to hang Chaverra, but his shot went wide.
About a quarter of an hour the first approximation of the Bumangués team would arrive. Quick counterattack led by Diomar Díaz, left Juan Carlos Pereira and Andrés Llinás on the way, but in his last hit the Bogotano recovered and stole the ball just as he was going to shoot.
