Meeting at CJ Blossom Park
On the 6th, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Jeong Hwang-geun visited CJ Blossom Park, an integrated research center for CJ CheilJedang’s bio and food products in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, and held a meeting with green bio officials to listen to industry opinions.
Green bio refers to an industry that increases agricultural productivity or develops new materials by applying biotechnology to agricultural bioresources. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs said it plans to announce a strategy to nurture the green bio industry this month.
