The Miss World organization revealed who will be the 40 participants who will travel back to Puerto Rico for the final of the beauty pageant, postponed on December 16 due to an outbreak of covid-19 among the contestants.

The 70th edition of the beauty contest will be held at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum starting at 8:00 pm (Venezuela time), on March 16.

The Venezuelan went to her social networks to express her gratitude for the support she has received for her participation in the beauty pageant. «Miss World taught us that it is a priority and now it will give us the opportunity to return and although only the top 40 will return to the Isla del Encanto, we are all winners by living this unique in history, by learning from each other and supporting each other in those moments. that only we live,” Conde wrote.

The pre-selection of 40 candidates was taken as a measure to reduce the possibility of a second outbreak of the disease. The first 15 candidates were those who had already been confirmed by winning various challenges in the preliminary competitions for talent, modeling, sports, and social projects.

The remaining 25 were chosen by the panel of judges.
