Shortstop Gabriel Árias, who was recalled to the Major Leagues in his first shift Wednesday night, hit his number one home run in his short career debut in MLB.

This homer hit him on a 3-1 count, into a 97 mph fastball, which he deposited all over right field with a distance of 403 FT and an exit velocity of 108.5 MPH to tie the score at 1-1.

For Árias, this is his game number 9 this season, in which he has 31 plate appearances, with four runs scored, five hits, a triple and five RBIs. The Cleveland Guardians they hope to get positive performances from the 22-year-old, who is ranked as the organization’s No. 10 prospect.
